Thankful for God’s Pure Word!

Scripture reading for May 31st:  Psalm 11-14

Key Scriptures:  Psalm 12:6-8  “The words of the Lord are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times.  O Lord, You will keep us safe and protect us from such people forever.  The wicked strut about freely when what is vile is honored among men.”

As in our day and time, the wicked and proud of Israel were strutting about because what was vile had been promoted and honored in the times they were living in.  King David rejoiced in God’s faithful promise to protect the righteous against the treachery of the wicked.  God could be counted on to honor His Word, not only in that time, but forever!

Thankful for God’s flawless Truth:  There are only two types of people on the earth:  Those that believe in the Son of God and those who do not!  One has eternal life, the other eternal wrath!  “The Father loves the Son and has placed everything in His hands.  Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him.”  (John 3:35-36)
