Confident Overcomers Rejoice!

Scripture reading for December 16th:  Revelation 12, Psalm 127-28, Proverbs 3

Key Scriptures:  Revelation 12:10-12 “And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.  And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.  Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them!  But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short!””

Believers in Jesus Christ can rejoice in the victory already won for them by their Lord Jesus.  He vanquished the devil and death when He went to the cross for us, shedding His own blood in place of ours.  Our testimony is our identification with Jesus in His death for us and resurrection from death.  In our identification, we are seated in the heavens in Christ.  We can be confident now no matter what happens.

Faith Confession:  I identify with Jesus Christ and trust in His shed blood to give me victory over the devil, sin, and the world.  I am seated with Jesus in the heavenly realm and look forward to enjoying the full victory in eternity.

Proverbs 3:25-26 “Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.”
