Key Scriptures: John 11:25-27 “Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” She said to Him, “Yes, Lord; I believe that You are the Christ, the Son of God who is coming into the world.””
Jesus had come to the grave of His friend, Lazarus, who had been dead for four days. Martha, Lazarus’ sister, had ran to meet Jesus with a quiet faith, trusting that whatever Jesus would ask from His Father, God would do. Jesus revealed Himself to her (and us) as the “resurrection and the life.” Mary confessed her faith in Jesus as the Christ and Son of God. Saving faith was released!
2nd Samuel 12:24-25 “Then David comforted his wife, Bathsheba, and went in to her and lay with her, and she bore a son, and he called his name Solomon. And the Lord loved him and sent a message by Nathan the prophet. So he called his name Jedidiah, because of the Lord.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your love and revelation of who You are: “The Resurrection and the Life.” I receive your revelation and love message today by faith in Jesus Christ, Son of God. Amen.
