Tag: Jude 20-25
Scripture reading for November 28th: Ezekiel 41-44, Jude
Key Scriptures: Jude 20-25 “But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life. And have mercy on those who doubt; save others by snatching them out of the fire; to others show mercy with fear, hating even the garment stained by the flesh. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of His Glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.
Jude advocated an active faith for those facing the persecution and lawlessness of the last days. Prayer in the Holy Spirit builds us up in our faith. Showing mercy to others and sharing the Gospel with the lost are acts of faith that build us up and the body of Christ. Christ will present us blameless before His Glory at the proper time!
Ezekiel 43:1-2 “Then he led me to the gate, the gate facing east. And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the east. And the sound of His coming was like the sound of many waters, and the earth shone with His Glory!”
Prayer: Lord, help me to actively wait for the revelation of Your Glory, exercising my faith by deeds of mercy and Holy Spirit led prayers. Amen.
