Thankful for a God without equal!

Scripture reading for August 9th:  Isaiah 38-42

Key Scriptures:  Isaiah 40:25-26  “”To whom will you compare Me?  Or who is My equal?”. says the Holy One.  Lift your eyes and look to the heavens:  Who created all these?  He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name.  Because of His great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.”

Isaiah quoted God’s question for His people:  “To whom will you compare Me?  Or who is My equal?”  Of course, we merely need to look at creation and remember who created it all–with His word out of nothing!  The stars, for example, are more numerous than grains of sand on an ocean beach, yet God names each one and all answer to Him for their existence!  What a marvelous God we serve–without equal!

An Amazing God:  “”Who has known the mind of the Lord?  Or who has been His counselor?  “Who has ever given to God that God should repay him?”  For from Him and Through Him and to Him are all things.  To Him be the glory forever!  Amen.”  (Romans 11:34-36, Isaiah 40:13-14)
