Sunday rest and reflection!
Sunday June 22nd, 2014
Dear Friends,
Mary and I would like to thank all who prayed and sent us notes and encouragement this past week. My father went home to the Lord last Saturday night and we had a wonderful home-going service on Wednesday. We could feel the prayers and God’s presence was with us in a special way. My mom, after 68 years of marriage, is working through this with God’s help.
Jesus is the Hope of all the earth! In Him, all families of the earth find true blessings of righteousness and peace! His Kingdom is a kingdom of righteousness and peace based on His eternal love and faithfulness! Let us gather to worship, pray, and honor His Word as it is taught and preached! The King is coming soon!

Sunday Rest and Reflection!
Sunday June 8th, 2014
Dear Friends,
Praise the Lord for the Holy Spirit! This is Pentecost Sunday, and another day to celebrate God’s gift of salvation and His gift of empowerment to live a holy life! On Pentecost Sunday, Acts 2 records that the Holy Spirit came upon the 120 disciples of Jesus while they were waiting and praying. A sound like a mighty rushing wind filled the house where they were and tongues of fire descended on each one. The new “Temple” was filled with God’s glory and they all began to speak with new tongues and glorify God! The presence of God could now be taken by each believer into the world to share the Gospel message!
Gather with us Sunday morning for a message of the baptism of the Holy Spirit and then come back tonight for a city-wide worship event with Rev. Ryan and Sara Delling of Eagles Wings. “Keepers of the Flame” city-wide prayer events are open to all! May the Holy Spirit fill you with joy and power to live a fruitful life for Jesus!

Dear Friends,
Another resurrection day has arrived and God’s people gather to celebrate and regroup for the battle for the souls of men! This battle is waging fiercely around the world. Satan and the forces of darkness seek to separate men from faith and from each other. We gather to reunite and be built up for continued victory! Jesus is coming soon!

Dear Friends of Jesus,
After a week of being scattered in this world, the Church of Jesus Christ gathers for prayer, Bible Study, and fellowship! Worship of Jesus is a priority and together, He is right there in our midst! We can offer ourselves to Him afresh and receive instruction and correction. We can be a blessing to others by our words and example! By the way, this is Memorial Weekend! We remember those who have given their lives in service of our country!
We make time for what is really important! Will you set your value on Christ’s command to assemble together today? God’s smile of approval is the greatest reward! Soon we will see Him face to face!

Dear Friends,
Each Sunday is meant to be a celebration for God’s people! We gather after a week of being scattered like seed to produce fruit in our field of service. We gather to worship God and celebrate the victory of the Cross and resurrection! We gather for prayer and encouragement from our brothers and sisters who gather with us! We share our journey through focus on God and listening for His voice through the preaching of His Word. We are washed by the Word and made ready for another week of scattering in our field of mission, refreshed and ready for action.
God bless you and your family today! May you be refreshed and refocused on what is truly important!

Sunday rest and reflection!
Sunday May 11th, 2014
Dear Friends,
Today is a day to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead!
It is also a day we honor our mothers, who sacrificially carried us and cared for us that we can enjoy physical life on earth! I must boast of a wonderful mother who blessed me and our family by her loving, caring, serving example of our Lord. She taught the Bible in word and deed! She has blessed her family and God’s family is richer because of her! May God bless her today and always!
Join with the church today as we worship, pray, and listen to God’s Word! May eternal praise be given to the One who gives us eternal life! God bless our mothers! May Jesus Christ be praised!

Dear Friends,
As we finished the reading of the Chronicles, the history of the Old Testament Church should jog our own memories! The Israelites had the temple and God’s presence in their midst. They had priests and kings placed by God as leaders and prophets to call them to godly conduct and a relationship by faith. But this people rejected the call of the prophets and the people and leaders got involved in the world and neglected God! They reached a point of “no remedy” but loss of their land and temple and then captivity!
We certainly have something better! We have a New Covenant through the blood of Jesus Christ! We are now living stones in the New Temple and the glorious Presence of God in the Holy Spirit lives in us! Let’s gather today as His Temple and Bride to pray, worship, partake of Holy Communion, and hear His Word! Jesus is coming and He is our remedy! We must be about His business!

Dear Friends,
Greetings in the Glorious Name of Jesus Christ! He is alive! Resurrection celebrations will occur today from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same! His Name is to be praised by His people! One day, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord! Let me encourage you to join God’s family today to worship Jesus and pray! We need another awakening in our land and God responds to the humble prayers of His people!

Dear Friends,
Jesus is Alive! Today we celebrate!
Today and each first day of the week Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead! He is the first-born from death of many brothers and sisters! In His resurrection, we who believe in Him are also raised and seated with Him in heavenly places. We await His coming again to receive us and all throughout history who have put their trust in Him.
Let’s gather with joy to celebrate the greatest event of human history! Victory over death and hell is ours today because of the obedience of God’s Son, Jesus Christ! No other Name given among men can give us this victory!
