Sunday rest and reflection!
Sunday April 13th, 2014
Dear Friends,
Today we celebrate Palm Sunday! Nearly 2000 years ago Jesus, in obedience to His Father, rode into Jerusalem on the colt of a donkey and was hailed by the people as the King from David’s line. Jesus came to His temple to be examined as the final sacrifice for the sins of mankind! He would later in that week be crucified as that acceptable sacrifice!
Each Sunday is a celebration of Christ’s resurrection on the third day after His death. We celebrate a risen Savior who is alive from death, Christ the King! What a blessing to rest in His complete salvation and know His love and grace! If you are looking for a family of God or belong to our Good Shepherd Family, come celebrate with us! We love Jesus Christ, worship with passion, pray with faith and grow in grace as we learn His Word! We would be honored if you joined us!

Dear Friends,
Greetings in the Wonderful Name of Jesus Christ! Today Christians from around the world gather to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and encourage each other to prepare for His soon return for His Bride, the Church! He died according to God’s plan, showing the world His Father’s great love in offering His body and blood as covering for sin. He was buried in a tomb, but rose on the third day! Death was defeated and life and immortality were brought to light as hope for anyone who would believe in Him! We will anticipate His coming again as King of Kings!
If you need a church home or call Good Shepherd your home, please join us in this wonderful celebration as we gather to remember our Lord, worship, and pray! Jesus Christ is the center of our church!

Dear Friends,
I pray that you have been blessed this week by the story of Ruth! It is set in the time of the Judges, and offers hope to all who have ears to hear!
We are so blessed to have a “close relative” in our Lord Jesus Christ! He was ready and able to pay the price to buy us back from slavery to sin and death! He placed His covering of blood over us and took us into His household! He poured abundance of provision into our laps and caused us to sing for joy at God’s grace! His shoes were removed as He bargained for us outside the city gates on the Cross of Calvary! The price of redemption was paid in full!
Let’s join together with God’s people and celebrate His redemption! Christians gather the first day of each week to worship, pray and read His Word! We gather to encourage each other to love and good deeds, awaiting the coming of our heavenly Bridegroom! What a joy it will be when we are joined forever in His presence!

Dear Friends,
Greetings in the wonderful Name of Jesus–our Joshua! I hope you have enjoyed the study of Joshua as much as I have! Joshua was a man of faith and a strong leader. He tried to listen to God’s instructions and God honored him with victory and possession of the Promised Land. He and Caleb obtained their inheritance through faith and patient endurance. They never cast away their confidence and received their reward!
Let’s gather today with others on the journey of faith to worship our Father and His only Son, Jesus Christ! He has demonstrated His love for us and longs to meet with us. Come expecting the Presence of our Lord!

Dear Friends,
Greetings on another Resurrection Day! We finished our journey through the Pentateuch, the Books of Moses. They covered many years of our early history from God creating the earth and heavens to Moses’ home-going! God was certainly patient with His people. Those who would lead His people had to learn obedience and patience too. Not even Moses got it all right! He lost entrance into the Promised Land by losing his temper!
We have one greater than Moses–Jesus Christ! He did get it all right! He prayed for mercy for those who crucified Him instead of losing His temper. He is the Son of God and came to be the Captain of our Salvation and demonstrate the love of the Father. Take time today to worship Him and offer Him the honor due Him! He is worthy!

Dear Friends,
Greetings in the wonderful Name of Jesus Christ! Our theme for February centers on connections in the family and order in the home. God is a God who loves order. He established authority structure in the home to provide order and protection and provision.
We gather on Sunday’s to worship the One over all authority and to honor Him for His protection, provision and wonderful hope given us by His great and precious promises. Be sure and take time today to worship and pray! God’s blessings flow to people in proper order under authority!
