Reaping is promised if we persevere!
Scripture reading for August 22nd: Galatians 6, Psalm 18, Proverbs 14
Key Scriptures: Galatians 6:7-10 “Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh, will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
It is easy to get discouraged in the culture and world we live in. It was no different in Paul’s day. Believers must not tire of sowing the Gospel message and living in the Spirit and reflecting His fruit. It may appear that no progress is being made, but it is a work of faith and love. If we continue to sow, and not give up, we will reap! This promise made by God our Father.
Faith Confession: I will continue to live by the Holy Spirit and allow Him to produce the sweet fruit of His presence in my life. I know that what I sow, that I will reap! Nothing is too hard for God!
Proverbs 14:14 “The backslider in heart will be filled with the fruit of his ways, and a good man will be filled with the fruit of his ways.”
