A happy and blessed New Year–2023!
Dear friends and fellow pilgrims,
Mary and I would like tell you how much we love you and are thankful for each of you! It is a privilege to have you as friends. Friends are important as companions and fellow-travelers on life’s journey. They share the joys of life, bring encouragement during the trials of life, and are simply faithful to be there to pray and listen. They respond when we call for help. We want to be friends who do that as well, however imperfectly!
But we have a Friend, in Jesus Christ, Who truly loves us. He shares our joys and brings encouragement and direction during our trials and is always faithful to pray for us and listens as we share our needs and hopes with Him. He is a Friend who delights in us as God’s children and enjoys our fellowship. He perfectly loves us, always giving us what will truly be in our highest good, no matter what the cost. He is never pushy, never violates our free will or entices us with evil. He is good! He is holy! He is our Savior! He perfectly reveals the Father to us and the Way to Father’s house! He is worthy of all worship, praise and honor! “In Your presence is fullness of joy; and at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore!” (Psalm 16:15)
I have chosen to do the New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs in 2023 for our journey in www.BibleTrekToday.com. We will go through the New Testament chronologically reading one chapter a day, five days a week. We will also read one chapter of Psalms and one of Proverbs each day. The theme will be to experience Jesus Christ as our Joyful Friend and an overflow of worship. Please join me in reading! We are on our way to the land of Promise! In His Love, John and Mary Morse
