Sunday rest and reflection!
Sunday October 12th, 2014
Dear Friends,
I love fall! Harvest is in full swing on the farms! The air is getting cooler and nights longer! Football games come on the weekends and holidays are not far away! As we enjoy this season, we can look back and thank God for His faithfulness to supply our needs and lead us daily. He has abundantly supplied!
Take time this Sunday to join with God’s people and worship our Lord! Bring a thankful heart and present your selves before Him. One of the marks of the people of God is taking a day to honor God and give Him thanks! Offer yourself afresh as a laborer in His harvest field!

Dear Friends,
Greetings in the Wonderful Name of Jesus Christ, our Messiah!
Israel is the nation that brought forth the Messiah. God made a covenant with Abraham and has promised to bless those who bless Israel, and to curse those who curse Israel. (Genesis 12:3) He has told us in His Word to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and seek its prosperity. (Psalm 122:6-9) Jesus will return to Jerusalem and set up His millennial reign in Jerusalem!
Each year churches around the world join together on the first Sunday of October to pray for Israel. Join us Today as we join others in prayer! Let’s give ourselves to worship like never before! Jesus is coming soon!

Dear Friends of Jesus,
How comforting are the words of these prophets! God is a God of hope and encouragement! Through Haggai, we learned the righteous must live by faith in the face of difficult times. Through Zechariah, we learned that God would be a wall of fire around His people and that their enemies would be defeated! We are the “apple of His eye”!
With these encouragements, we gather to worship on the Lord’s Day! Today is a day of celebration and focus on the mission at hand: reaching the nations with the message of a coming Savior! Join us today for a mission’s banquet and a powerful message from missionary Bill McDonald! You will be encouraged at what God is doing!

Sunday Rest and Reflection!
Sunday September 14th, 2014
Dear Friends,
The times we live in are similar to those of the minor prophet Amos. He was a simple man who spoke a plain message of warning to people who were living in times of prosperity and declining attention to God. The people were going through the motions of religion, but not ready to meet God!
Let me call you as believers in Jesus Christ to come and meet with God’s people and with God this Sunday! We live in a time where the grace of God is flowing! If you have been back-slidden or neglecting corporate worship, God is merciful! Repent and follow the Holy Spirit back into the rhythms of His people. The Church of Jesus Christ needs you and you need the Church! Your family and friends do too! Invites someone to join you and attend today!

Dear Friends,
Greetings in the Glorious Name of Jesus Christ! He loves us and has demonstrated that love by giving His life on the cross and shedding His life-blood that those who would look to Him would have cleansing and eternal life! We celebrate His resurrection and victory over death and Hell as we gather today! What amazing love God has poured out on us! We remember Christ’s death until He comes again to receive us into glory!

Sunday August 24th, 2014
Dear Friends of Jesus,
August is flying by and Labor Day is just next week! As we reflect on our summer and the events of our world, we are reminded of our need for our Lord’s grace and protection. Our world is spinning towards judgement day and signs of the time of Christ’s return are on the news each day. Countries of the Middle East are in turmoil and war is spreading as well as persecution of Christ’s Bride, the Church! We must band together to encourage each other and stand against the wiles of our enemy, Satan. Jesus will soon appear for His Church!
Come join us at GSC for worship, Bible Study, prayer and the Word of God! His Spirit is moving on the earth and in the Church! These are exciting times for those who are strong in the Lord and centered on His Word!

Dear Friends of Jesus,
Praise the Lord for His marvelous Word! Praise Him for the glory of creation! Praise the Lord for His righteousness revealed in Jesus Christ, the final Word from God!
Today God’s people gather again to celebrate eternal life through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ! We gather united through our dependency on His shed blood, which alone can cleanse us from the power of sin and from sin’s penalty of eternal death. We gather to pray, study God’s Word, worship, and have fellowship with those on the journey of faith. Don’t miss out! Join in the celebration! The King is coming soon!

Dear Friends,
Today is the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Assemblies of God! We are thankful to be a part of this movement that has sent ministers and missionaries around the world to preach the Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit! We have grown from 314 at the initial assembly to over 67 million believers around the world! God has been gracious and is building His Church, of which our fellowship is but a small part!
Join us today to worship, pray, and seek His Face for renewed passion and power to take the Gospel to the lost of our own family, community and the world! Join us at church at 7:00 tonight for a live-stream of the final service of the Centennial Celebration in Springfield!
