Believe and Confess!

Scripture reading for June 26th:  Job 11-14, Romans 10

Key Scriptures: Romans 10:8-11  “But what does it say?  “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved for the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame.”

Faith gives all men a pathway to salvation.  You hear the Word of God concerning the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.  With your mouth you confess “Jesus is Lord” and are saved.  Job of ancient times longed to be justified and sought it by faith.

Job 14:14-15 “If a man dies, shall he live again?  All the days of my service I would wait, till my renewal should come.  You would call, and I would answer you; you would long for the work of your hands.”

Prayer:  Lord, thank You for the simplicity of salvation by faith.  Open doors today for me to proclaim this glorious truth!  Amen.
