No charges against God!

Scripture reading for June 25th:  Job 8-10, Romans 9

Key Scriptures:  Romans 9:14, 19-21 “What shall we say then:  Is there injustice on God’s part?  By no means! . . .You will say to me then, “Why does He still find fault?  For who can resist His will?”  But who are you, O man, to answer back to God?  Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?”  Has the potter no right over the clay, . . “

Man has a tendency to bring charges against God for their state in life and for their ultimate fate.  But it is never God at fault!  God is good and holy in all His ways.  Paul says it is God’s great mercy that we must all seek.  Thousands of years before, Job asked these same questions as he was going through trials.

Job 9:3, 12  “If one wished to contend with Him, one could not answer Him once in a thousand times.” . . . .“Behold, He snatches away:  who can turn Him back?  Who will say to Him, ‘What are You doing?'”

Prayer:  Lord, thank You for Your great mercy and goodness.  Although I have many questions, I trust in Your mercy and wisdom through Jesus Christ.  Amen.
